American Rare Breed Association presented great show in sunny Southern
California in USA on May 19-20,2006 - "Southern California Classic 2006".
There were over 40 rare breeds including Caucasian Mountain Dog. There were
10 dogs representing Caucasian Mountain Dog Breed. Our Kennel "Elbrus" was
presenting one of our best dogs - Zhan-Zhak-Zhandarm Jr - Charan-Godolan.
Professional judges-experts were very careful and took their time to
determine BEST dog of the Breed (BOB). My Zhan-Zhak was chosen BEST of the
BREED twice by two different judges.
Description given by judges:
"Powerful appearance with solid bone structure and strong musculature. The
skin is thick but elastic.Strong and balanced with a calm nature. Revealing
a good defense reaction which will be used if necessary. Typically ferocious
towards, and distrustful of strangers.Well revealed. The chest is broad and
deep, somewhat domed. The bottom line reaches the height of the elbow. The
abdomen has a moderate tuck-up. Withers are very wide, muscular and very
clearly separated from the back. The back is very wide, straight and
muscular. Croup is to be wide, muscular and almost horizontal".
There were two shows in total. At the end of each show we successfully
achieved: 2-EXCELLENT-I; 2- CAC-US; CACib and we took 2nd place in BEST in
SHOW.
We are expecting to attend the next show with Zhan-Zhak and his sister
Zhasmin which will take place in Northern California in July this year.
We'd like to thank our good friends Svetlana & Vladimir at CHARAN-GORDOLAN
